Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where our representative will welcome you. After a short briefing, embark on a scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park. Check in at your lodge and relax as you prepare for the first gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on a guided trek to find a gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing their behavior and interactions in the forest. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation, with the afternoon at leisure or optional cultural visits nearby.

Day 3: Cross to Uganda – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depart Volcanoes National Park and cross the border into Uganda. Drive through stunning countryside and traditional villages until you reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to half the world’s mountain gorillas. Spend the evening at leisure at your lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Rise early for a briefing before setting out on another gorilla trek, this time in Bwindi’s dense rainforest. Follow experienced rangers as you track the gorillas through rugged terrain. Once found, you will spend one magical hour with them before returning to your lodge to relax and reflect on this incredible experience.

Day 5: Return to Kigali – Departure
After breakfast, journey back to Kigali, passing through beautiful landscapes and stopping for photos along the way. Depending on your flight time, you may enjoy a short city tour, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial or local craft markets. Later, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
