Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Dian Fossey Museum
Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and guidelines. Accompanied by trained guides and trackers, hike through the lush forest and bamboo groves to find a gorilla family.
Spend up to an hour observing the gorillas, capturing photos, and witnessing their natural behaviors in their protected habitat. After your trekking experience, visit the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Museum to learn about the life and conservation work of this pioneering primatologist.
