Travel southwest to Nyungwe National Park, passing Rwanda’s iconic terraced hills and stopping at Kamegeri Rock in Ruhango District to enjoy local folklore. Visit the Nyanza King’s Palace Museum to delve into Rwanda’s cultural heritage. Lunch is served en route before continuing to Nyungwe. Check in at EAR Ken Barham Guest House, unwind, and enjoy a hands-on tea plantation experience, engaging with local farmers and capturing the beauty of the lush plantations. Return to the guest house for dinner and an evening of rest.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk Adventure
After an early breakfast, embark on an exciting morning of chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe National Park. Encounter a small group of chimpanzees in Cyamudongo Forest and listen for their distinctive calls. Keep an eye out for other wildlife including Ross’ turaco, grey-cheeked hornbill, red-breasted sparrow hawk, and sunbirds. Return to the guest house for lunch, then experience the park’s canopy walk—a 160-meter suspended bridge 70 meters above the forest floor—offering panoramic views of the rainforest. Conclude the day with dinner and rest at your guest house.

Day 3: Colobus Monkey Trekking and Return to Kigali

After the trek, return to the guest house to check out, then travel back to Kigali. Arrive at your hotel, residence, or the airport, concluding your memorable Nyungwe adventure.
